Major Machine Works is a Welding/ Fabricating/Machine Shop and a dealer for INTERSTATE Cargo Trailers and also ADVANTAGE Utility Trailers.We are located in Marathon, on the north shore of Lake Superior and are 400 km west of Sault Ste. Marie and 300 km east of Thunder Bay.
Over the years, we have supplied the local mines, paper mills, loggers, and a wide variety of customers in fabrication, repairing, and custom machining their steel requirements. Major Machine's capabilities include: fabrications of conveyors, underground chutes, wear liners, chip line pipes, transistions, cyclones, skips and a host of other steel structures. We have extensive experience rebuilding scoop buckets, shovel booms and buckets for the mining industry. We pride ourselves on fair pricing and reliable service backed by high quality workmanship.
