Major Machine Works is located in Marathon Ontario Canada, on the north shore of Lake Superior. We are 400 km west of Sault Ste. Marie and 300 km east of Thunder Bay.
We service big and small industries such as the local gold mines, paper mills, logging companies, railway, hydro, and walk-in customers. Our specialties include certified welding, machining, fabrication and repair.
Some examples of fabrications include conveyors, underground chutes, wear liners, chip line pipes, transistions, cyclones, skips and a host of other steel structures. We have extensive experience rebuilding scoop buckets,
shovel booms and buckets for the mining industry. We pride ourselves on fair pricing and reliable service backed by high quality workmanship. We also sell trailers, trailer parts, seacans, miscellanous parts and steel.
